Adoption is Not the Only Option !

In shelters across North Carolina, for every 10 animals that enter the shelter ONLY 2 will be adopted.  This is a terrible statistic and each and everyone of us can do something to change it.

First, when looking for a pet, please adopt from your local shelter or contact a local rescue group. Both the shelters and rescue groups have puppies, kittens, adult dogs and cats waiting for a family.

Second, get your animal spayed/neutered.  This not only reduces the number of animals born, but your pet will live a longer and happier life.   For $47 or LESS you can get a cat, kitten, dog or puppy fixed.

Let's work to change these statistics, one animal and one litter at a time ! !

THIS IS SOPHIE. Please consider a donation to help us fund spay/neuter programs. SOPHIE deserves better.
